Tour 1 departure air: Duex Soldats Wine Group 

 Leave USA September 8, 2026 | Arrive in Ljubljana, Slovenia any time on September 9, 2026. If your air configuration requires, you may have to shift your departure date to a day earlier and spend an extra night in Ljubljana or elsewhere in Europe. We can help arrange any extra pre-trip hotel night you may need. Upon arrival in Ljubljana, take a taxi on your own to Royal Union Hotel.

Tour 1 return air: IF you are doing the Korcula post trip, you return FROM SPLIT any time on September 23, 2026. You arrange your own taxi via hotel for your trip to the airport.

IF you are NOT doing the Korcula extension, you return from Split on September 18, 2026. Again, arrange own transport as needed to airport.

If your air configuration requires, you may have to shift your departure date to a day earlier and spend an extra night in Split or elsewhere in Europe. We can help arrange any extra pre-trip hotel you may need. Upon arrival in Split, you take a taxi on own to Sporone Hotel in Split.

IF YOU ARE NOT DOING KORCULA EXTENSION TOUR: Leave USA October 5, 2026 | Arrive in Split any time on October 6, 2026. If your air configuration requires, you may have to shift your departure date to a day earlier and spend an extra night in Split or elsewhere in Europe. We can help arrange any extra pre-trip hotel you may need. Upon arrival in Split, you take a taxi on own to Sporone Hotel in Split.

Tour 2 return air: You return FROM Ljubljana, Slovenia any time on October 15, 2026. You arrange your own taxi via hotel for your trip to the airport. 

Do NOT book any air until the trip has reached the minimum participant number. We will notify you when this occurs and give the go-ahead.

Croatia 10-day base trip: $2,985 per person double occupancy |  single occupancy upgrade + $989

Korcula extension tour  $1,295 per person double occupancy | single occupancy upgrade +$399

Room choices / Upgrades at Split Sperone Heritage Hotel

You will be staying in Split for either 2 nights or 3 nights, depending on whether you are doing the Korcula extension. There are different categories of rooms as per below. Some are not upgrades and some are. These upgrades appear below. These rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. If the non-upgrade rooms are taken when you indicate your choice of room type, it will be necessary to upgrade to a class of room for which there is still availability.

NOTE THAT THE UPGRADE COSTS ARE PER PERSON FOR THE ENTIRE STAY. It is NOT per night. So for the 2 nights included in the base tour, the cost of the upgrades below are for both nights.  The Korcula upgrade cost is less because it involves only one night stay in Split before or after the Korcula trip, depending on whether you are doing the Deux Soldads tour or the Flights tour.

Deposit structure

UPON SIGNUP, a $500 per person non-refundable deposit is required to secure space for the Croatia 9-day base trip.

UPON SIGNUP, a $200 per person non-refundable deposit*  ** in addition to the $500 deposit is required to secure space on the Korcula extension tour. If doing both tours, initial deposit is $700 per person.

*Of course, if trip fails to reach minimum required participant number, all initial deposited monies will be refunded.  We do not anticipate this occurring. 

SECOND DEPOSIT: January 15, 2026

$700 per person deposit per person for the Croatia 10-day base trip.

A $200 deposit per person in addition to the $700 deposit is required if you are adding the Korcula extension tour. If doing both tours, second deposit is $900 per person.

Final Payment: July 1, 2026

An invoice showing final amount due will be sent out prior to this deadline.

We anticipate that these tours will sell out quickly. If you have decided to join us, please do not hesitate in making this first deposit. We have space for only 26!

What is required to get on board

Payment methods: 3 ways to deposit…

3-PayPal link on our site pages but note: If you use PayPal there is a 3% charge from PayPal and you will need to add that 3% fee to your payment. 

Small local room taxes: There may be a small local room tax of a few euros per night per room. It depends on the locale. These are not included and if applicable, will be added to each room’s final bill, payable individually at checkout.

Currency adjustment possibility:  

There is a chance the Euro could strengthen between the time of deposit and the time of final payment in July. This is a risk with any foreign travel. This could result in an increase in the final payment amount due. Any necessary adjustment will be reflected on the final invoice.

Mimimum trip size

The trip price is based on 25 paying participants. There will be an adjustment on the base prices as per below:

Cancellation penalties   

Initial deposit is non-refundable. BUY trip insurance at time of deposit and your investment is covered in case you have to cancel for health reasons. If cancellation occurs after second deposit or after final deposit, the entirety of the first deposit is forfeited as well as any and all non-recoverable monies beyond that, as determined by Morningstar See Ski Savor Tours, inc. In almost every case, this loss will be substantial or complete. Again: buy trip insurance.

We highly recommend you protect your trip with a Trip Insurance policy.  It protects your trip in case of accident or illness that prevents you going, as well as on-trip incidents such as lost luggage, trip delay, and most importantly medical coverage and evacuation. The odds are great that your health insurance will not cover you overseas. If you are on Medicare, good luck!  It is truly requisite to overseas travel. If you are under 70, look at World Nomads.
