One of Skiman’s favorite days a few years ago. Some of our crew skiing by one of the glaciers in the Matterhorn region.
A few years ago, we took 50 skiers to Zermatt, which is on the Swiss side of the Matterhorn. Now we are going to do a week of skiing the same Matterhorn region, but we will be staying in the charming Italian village of Cervinia. Switzerland is just insanely expensive now due to the strong franc and there is no way we want to offer a trip there until the exchange rate changes and the Swiss prices come down to earth. A week in Zermatt is being offered by another ski tour company for $4,000 per. We are going to ski the exact same resort for less than half that cost. Our rooms are at one of the nicest 4-star properties in Cervinia, The Sertorelli Sport Hotel, which is famous for its cuisine and ambiance. Done deal. It is going to be amazing. We are, of course, offering guided back country skiing for the experts with Alpine guides. We are going to do some heli skiing from the Italian side as well! Flying around the Matterhorn and skiing at its base is something you will never forget. Skiman has been there, done that, and cannot wait to do it again. On this ski week, you will access two ski resorts in two countries: Cervinia, Italy and Zermatt, Switzerland. It is an amazing complex of lifts that connect the two resorts and the two countries. A short walk from the hotel will hook you up to one of the biggest ski regions in the world. For intermediate skiers there are hundreds of kilometers of groomed trails that will be impossible to cover in a week. We will have off-trail back country skiing led by alpine guides offered daily. Of course, Skiman will be all over that!

We want to reserve the air for you so we can hold and lock in the price. We can hold the air for you with no deposit. Your initial $275 deposit must be received by us within seven days to lock in your space. So: 1- Decide how many segments you are doing. Ski week only? Pre/Post extensions? Doing both ski weeks: We have many of our skier friends that want to save a lot of money and stay for both ski weeks. If you have the resources and the time, this is a great idea. You have to pay to fly over to Europe and back, so the longer you stay there, the more value you are getting out of your ticket. And you save money on the second ski week. You take $300 off the second ski week since there is no air component needed, and you also save a bundle by not having to pay the air taxes for that second week. Contact us for the details.
