With more ski terrain than all the resorts in Utah, Colorado, and California combined, this is a skier’s bucket-list adventure on an epic scale.

Dan the Ski Man and guide friend Phillipe savor one of many untracked runs we had in Trois Vallee last year. More in store for YOU in 2027.

This year’s program includes skiing at three legendary French Alps destinations:

  • Les Trois Vallées
  • Val d’Isère
  • Les Arcs

We’ll stay all week in Brides-les-Bains, our home base at the gateway to Les Trois Vallées. Most days will be spent exploring the vast terrain of Les Trois Vallées, with several day trips to Val d’Isère and Les Arcs—both less than 30 minutes away. Affordable charter bus transportation will be arranged for these excursions (cost TBD), allowing you to experience all three world-class ski areas in a single week.

Our Hotel

Last season, Hotel Altis Val Vert exceeded every expectation. Guests consistently praised the warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, ideal location, and especially the outstanding cuisine.

For both ski weeks, we have reserved nearly the entire Altis Val Vertl exclusively for Morningstar guests, creating a fun, social, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the trip.

Included Daily:

  • Full breakfast each morning
  • Exceptional multi-course French dinners every evening
  • Comfortable alpine accommodations
  • Convenient access to the lifts and surrounding resorts

Extraordinary Value

One of the biggest surprises for many American skiers is how affordable a luxury ski vacation in the French Alps can be compared to major U.S. resorts.

Consider the advantages:

  • Lift tickets are often about one-third the price of major U.S. resorts
  • Daily breakfast and gourmet dinners are INCLUDED
  •  European accommodations at far lower prices
  • Massive ski terrain with interconnected resorts
  • Daily guided skiing optional

When you compare the total experience, the value is almost impossible to match in North America.

Slopeside food in France is as good as the skiing!

The Intangibles That Add So Much to Our Morningstar Ski Weeks

There are aspects of every tour that simply cannot be quantified or measured—the friendships formed, the long-lasting relationships, and the unforgettable experiences shared along the way. These intangibles add immeasurably to every trip, and we believe they are a defining part of all our ski weeks.

A perfect example comes from our March 2026 ski week in the Les Trois Vallées. Twenty-five of us skied through the night to our guide and friend Phillip’s great-grandfather’s cabin deep in the woods, where we gathered for a shared dinner and an unexpected surprise ending.

Click the link below to learn of one of the most spectacular ski adventures Skiman has ever enjoyed.

Intangibles… absolutely.

The off-trail guided skiing is why Skiman has done over 50 ski weeks in the Alps with groups.

Cost of Alpine Guides….We reduce this cost by 80%!

Hiring private mountain guides independently in Europe is expensive, especially when split among only one or two skiers.

With Morningstar, guide expenses are shared across our larger group, dramatically reducing the cost per person while still giving everyone access to elite local guides every day.

For many guests, the savings on guided skiing alone nearly offsets the cost of the entire package.

An Unforgettable Alpine Experience

  • Skiing thousands of acres of legendary terrain
  • Exploring charming French alpine villages
  • Enjoying mountain lunches with spectacular views
  • Finishing each day with incredible French cuisine and wine
  • Sharing the experience with a fun group of adventurous skiers
  • Join Skiman on his 54th and 55th group ski week in the Alps. He’s been doing this for over 35 years. He knows skiing. He knows the Alps. And he knows what skiers want in a ski adventure.

This is the kind of ski trip people talk about for years afterward.

It really IS this big. It really IS this good.

Meet Dan The Ski Man — President of Morningstar

For more than 35 years, Dan “The Ski Man,” President of Morningstar, has been leading skiers on unforgettable adventures throughout the Alps. During that time, he has skied with thousands of guests in Europe’s greatest mountains and has spent well over a year of his life skiing and hosting Morningstar ski weeks in the Alps.

Dan’s passion for the Alps extends far beyond the skiing. He loves the authentic mountain villages, incredible alpine atmosphere, world-class cuisine, and especially the vast off-piste and backcountry terrain that simply has no equivalent in North America. Just as meaningful are the friendships he has built with local alpine guides who have become part of the Morningstar family over the years.

Having skied destinations around the world, Dan’s favorite remains the legendary Trois Vallées.

As he puts it: “Simply put, it’s the best skiing in the world.”
