Dan has skied with Phillipe through the backcountry of France more times than he can count, and not once has a day felt ordinary. Every tour, every line, every moment has been an adventure — full of laughter, beauty, and the kind of joy that only the mountains (and someone like Phillipe) can give.

Phillipe’s roots run deep here. His family has lived in these mountains for generations, and it shows. He knows the Trois Vallées better than anyone — not just the routes and the risks, but the stories, the people, the soul of the place. Skiing with Phillipe isn’t just skiing — it’s a master class in mountain knowledge, safety, timing, and instinct. It’s a living history lesson. And it’s always, always fun.

But what truly sets Phillipe apart is how much he gives of himself. He goes way beyond the job. He opens his home to us for fondue dinners. He brings us into his family’s history with visits to his father’s and grandfather’s cabins tucked away in the woods. He dreams up nights we’ll never forget — like 2025’s snowmobile-initiated adventure that led to a night ski and a bonfire dinner under the stars for 30 of us.
